OOOOOoooooo scaaaaary! City's first half certainly was - but, like a slasher villain in the final act, they suddenly recovered and provided a much improved showing in the second, only a worldie from Julio Enciso denying the Tigers all three points. The Gang discuss the draw with Ipswich on Halloween, discuss whether it is finally time to change up the formation full-time, before previewing a trip to the English champions. Oh dear. That wasn't very good, as The Tigers fell to a dismal defeat at Fulham. No City matches to report on, but the Gang reconvene to discuss English football being on fire thanks to some other club named City, ANOTHER car being flipped at the training ground, a new redevelopment in West Park for the Tigers Trust, England's Nations League campaign, and a preview of the return of regular football with the arrival of Everton to East Yorkshire on Hull Fair Sunday... A first league defeat, but it doesn't feel like one somehow. City recovered from a pretty shocking start against Newcastle but couldn't salvage any points, despite a penalty save to right on half time and a superb second half from the Tigers that, on another day, could've seen the spoils shared. The Gang convene to discuss the defeat and how it manages to set us in good stead for some huge fixtures after the international break, and look at the Tigers who will be representing their country over the next few weeks. Oh, what might've been. The Tigers made their first trip to the capital this season and fought a fantastic ding-dong Desmond with Chelsea, and arguably could've won it. The Gang convene to discuss a marvellous day out that continues City's unbeaten Premier League start, glaze the Manager of the Month Sergej Jakirović, gloss over losing to Sunderland in the cup, critique Sorba Thomas' driving skills, and look ahead to the final game before the first international break away at Newcastle United. City remain unbeaten and unbroken still after a stalemate at the MKM with Aston Villa, a closely fought game where either side could've won it. The Gang (joined by some friends from Down Under!) convene to discuss the draw, City start, and go through the deadline day shenanigans and all these new names we're gonna have to get used to...
