Show notes
The Stormers have started the new season on a winning note. In this episode, we look back at an interesting opening round of the URC that brought plenty of success for South African rugby, both at home and abroad, and take a closer look at how the South African sides are shaping up early in the campaign.
We then break down the Stormers’ victory over Connacht in Galway, including the noticeable improvement in ball retention from last season and how that helped them take control of the contest. We also discuss the standout performers and key moments that ultimately swung the game in the Stormers’ favour.
Finally, we turn our attention to the upcoming clash against Edinburgh — a new-look side dealing with several injuries and plenty of changes from last season. We look at the challenge they could pose, as well as the new additions to the Stormers lineup and what they could bring as the team looks to build on a strong start to the season.
