The Big Interview: Josh Kerr
What was originally planned as a 20-minute feature for our next monthly show turned into a conversation of nearly an hour and it was simply too good to cut down.
So, for this special edition of the Blue Toon Podcast, we're bringing you our Big Interview with Peterhead defender Josh Kerr in full.
Josh takes us through his fascinating journey in football, from his early days with Hamilton and Celtic to leaving Scotland as a teenager to join Brighton & Hove Albion.
We talk about his first experience of senior football with Derry City, establishing himself at Airdrie, returning to Ireland with Bohemians and his subsequent spells with Cove Rangers and Stirling Albion.
Josh also speaks openly about his decision to step away from football, life outside the game and what eventually brought him back and to Peterhead.
We hear about settling in at Balmoor, committing his future to the Blue Toon and his thoughts on the current squad and what Peterhead can achieve this season.
Plus, we find out where all those goals from centre-half suddenly came from!
A fascinating, open and thoroughly enjoyable conversation with Josh Kerr.
