Charlie & The Mystery of The Missing Cup, an audiobook by Darren Rees.
https://www.patreon.com/c/Footballforkids (6th and final chapter).
One trophy. One boy. One brilliantly bonkers mystery.
When eight-and-three-quarters-year-old football fanatic Charlie wakes from a dream about cheesecake (football-shaped, of course), he has no idea he’s about to stumble into the biggest mystery his town has ever seen. Across the road, the side door to a very special building is wide open - and the world-famous Cup that lives inside… has vanished.
But this isn’t just any old case of theft. Oh no. There are suspicious soups, dogs that look like their owners, eccentric inventors, secret tunnels, exploding gates, and a crime-solving caretaker with a moustache that means business.
With the Cup Final fast approaching, Charlie must dive headfirst into a race against time - where not everyone is who they seem, and the game he loves might be hiding more secrets than he ever imagined.
Full of twists, laughs and a giant football-shaped heart, this is a story for anyone who believes that football is more than just a game.
