Show notes
It’s just Tim and Ollie in the hot seat this week as Jenny takes a well-earned break from the BBC. Things get a bit "lads-lads-lads" as the boys dive into Paralympic prep, billionaire-slapping fantasies, and the eye-watering cost of airplane "duct tape".
From Kaishu Hirano’s gravity-defying 25ft half-pipe air to the mystery of why Tui makes it so hard to book a board bag, this episode is packed tighter than a suitcase on a budget airline.
-
The Paralympic Deep Dive: Tim is heading to Cardiff to commentate on the Paralympic Snowboard Men’s Upper Limb category. He’s currently drowning in spreadsheets trying to tell his Lower Limb 1s from his Lower Limb 2s.
-
The Billionaire Slap-Off: If you could open-hand slap one billionaire, who would it be? The boys weigh up Elon Musk vs. Jeff Bezos, but James Dyson takes the heat for those ear-splitting hand dryers that spray your trousers.
-
The 25ft Club: Discussing Kaishu Hirano’s legendary jump at the LAAX Open—25 feet above the lip!. That’s literally the height of the eaves on your house.
-
The £6k Roll of Tape: Ever see tape on an airplane wing and panic? It’s actually "Speed Tape," and it costs a staggering £6,805 per roll.
-
Tui Troubles & Listener Tips: Ollie is off to Austria for Spring Battle, but booking his board bag on a Tui flight has been a nightmare. The consensus from the listeners? "Just ring them up".
-
Scotland’s Shifting Snow: Shout out to the scene in the Cairngorms and the upcoming sessions with Jamie Nicholls and Ben Kilner.

The Après Instagram: Follow for the "viral" Tui rants and more.
-
Swiss Air: Mentioned for their free board bag policy—and no, the "APRE" promo code for free champagne probably won't work, but it’s worth a shot.
-
Tui: For those brave enough to try and book sports equipment online.
